 A Quality stand for a Great price Dec 15, 2008
Bought this stand for my Hitachi 10" miter saw. Stand is very durable and has no wobble to it. Sets up quickly and the release arms are very easy to use. My only negative is that I can't seem to find out how to order extra quick relase arms so I could also use it for my router and other tools.

Amazon had this on special some time back for $65.89, with free super saver shipping. I was in need of a stand and had been looking for some time. Couldn't beat the price so I took a chance.
For what I paid, it's a good solid stand and does everything I need it to do. At the current price of $99.00, I'd say it's still a reasonable value.
One note*** Amazon's picture of the item shows the support rollers improperly installed. The stand is designed so that the roller brackets should be installed with the roller support posts on the inboard side of each support arm. This places the rollers in line with one another and over the centerline of the stand. Amazon's picture shows both roller brackets installed to the outboard side of the support arms.

I got this stand on sale for $65.84 delivered. What a Great Deal from Amazon. You bolt the brackets on the bottom of your saw and slip in on the tubes and push the levers down and you have got a very sturdy stand. It is a very quick setup approx. 30 seconds. Also very easy to carry with the crossbar in the middle of stand. This is a heavy duty stand. I would have gave it 5 stars but only gave it 4 due to the fact that the knobs and push down brackets are made of plastic. Overall this is a very nice heavy duty stand that I use alot. i noticed in other reviews that some people said the threaded knobs are to short for the extension tubes, but if you look there are 2 threaded knobs that are longer. Very happy with Purchase......

I'm just a homeowner that has an interest in doing things around the house for myself. When the idea of house-wide base board replacement came up, I figured it was time to move the miter saw off the floor and on to a stand. I spent time looking in stores and on the web and happened to stumble on to this one. Being somewhat skeptical about how good it could be based on the price, I decided to take a chance and order one figuring I could return it if it didn't work out.
When it arrived I happened to have a contractor at the house installing a door which replaced a window looking out to the backyard. When he saw what I ordered he was curious how good it was going to be since he too was looking for a portable stand that, if stolen from the job site, wouldn't break the bank but also could do the job. After testing mine, he ordered one also.
I've been very pleased with the size and strength of the unit and would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a portable miter saw stand. Amazon, as always, provided quick shipping, and good service.
